JAA approved TRO?

Hey guys,

I have been trying for awhile to get this thing straighten out.
1. If you take a TR in a certain TRO in US or Canada, does that make you elegible to apply for jobs and fly in JAA countries as well?
2. What are the differences between FAA,CAA and JAA regarding this matter?
3. Knew a guy who paid his TR in Canada, but was unable to get a job or get it recognised in JAA countries.
4. Simply, is a TR recognised everywhere no matter where you do it or does it have to fall down to the authorities?

Thanks
