Hey Everyone, i am still at school and am seriously considering being a pilot. My Dad being an aircraft engineer told me about Hamble - Southampton, and i thought it would be a very good idea. The money to me isnt the problem, its just where to go and how to go about my training when i leave school. Will i need A levels etc. Thanks if anyone can help

Hamble. if this was the 1970's then Hamble would be an option.
Suggest you get some more updated information.
I am not that old but when I was a teenager the internet was not a public resource, I managed to learn about the UK CAA training system from flying magazines and speaking with instructors from a local flying club.
A levels are not required but initiative is a good virtue.
You have the internet so use it, if you searched on pilot training and this forum you would soon find all the information you will require. There is alot of it out there you will get overloaded. But have a search and a read and then comeback with some more specific questions (sorry, fogged out again today,so I have nothing better to do).

I'd apply for Virgin Galactic, in the 5-6 time when you're 20ish, no doubt they'll be running a little scheme alongside OAT or the like.
Seriously, loads of good schools out there bud, get your further/higher education sorted and see who's competitive at time.
Regards
Rossco.
PS. Stay in School, oh and keep off the drugs

I would not consider Naples Air Centre on your list to start with.
To save your sanity - before you become embroiled and completly lost in the smoke and mirrors of JAR training regulation. If money is not an issue then i would not sink into the debate of this school that school modular/integrated debate - save headache and choose Oxford , Kidlington i would suggest to give you your best chance for employment
