Florida Aviation Academy

Has any one had any experience with Florida Aviation Academy located in Pompano Beach, Florida, Their website is www.flaviationacademy.com.

Need to know if this is a good school to do flight training.

Course looks pretty costly but time wise they are much shorter than any other course

Would appreciate any help on this

Flyinglowe

Went to Florida aviation academy last year to do some time building. I lived with 3 other student who were starting from scratch and going upto commercial level. All of them seemed to have spent alot more than they had been originally quoted, so I would not take the advertised costs as gospel. The flying I found was generally good, but Pompano itself is not the nicest place

Why?

Can you flesh that out a bit with some reasons?

Would disagree with above posters, Completed CPL/ME/IR here with a uk jar conversion after and had absolutely no issues, did MCC in parc and straight into RYR. Found the school to be professional and reasonable price wise.
Be careful of advise given by other posters!
