Go to PAT in Bournemouth.
You would be foolish not to.

PAT= Professional Air Training

Please do not confuse these two organisations one has an excellent reputation for CPL/IR training and has been in business since the early nineties (PAT).

PFT= Professional Flight Training

PFT is a recent set up at Bournemouth(late 2006).
PFT use to specialise in IRRs under another name STS, one would assume that the new name is an attempt to trade off the back of PATs success.

Professional Flight Training Bournemouth

Hi all,
I'm looking for feedback about this school (www.fly-pft.co.uk), has anybody in this forum done any training with them/heard rumours/facts etc? Would be greatly appreciated!

I went there a few years ago. They were spot on. They have a good rep and high pass rates. If you use the search function you will find more info there.

BAD CREDIT

I assume you are talking about PAT as PFT has only been on the airfield in its present guise since december 06. Prior to that it was STS which specialised in IR renewals only. Check out the CAA approvals. It is very important people do not confuse PFT with Professional Air Training who have been at Bournemouth since the early 90s.

I recently had a couple of hours with Mike @ PFT on the 727-200 sim before my sim ride, he gave excellent instruction and I got the job! So can't recommend him enough.

Spoke to Mike Boulton on the phone and he sounds delightful. Very friendly and encouraging!

I did consider my flight training at Bournemouth but still deciding as Fujairah Aviation Academy has screwed me over

To put the record straight. Professional Flight Training Ltd is not riding on the good name of PAT, a school we have high regard for.

My post has been unfairly edited. STS/PFT are Mike Boulton's companies. STS DID NOT only carry out IRR it trained many IR students for CTC/PTC/ Oxford Air Training and even two PAT students. I repeat Mike Boulton was carrying out IR training at Bournemouth before any of the present schools existed.
