Question HPA courses

Hi everybody,

I´m holder of a JAA CPL/IR issued by germany´s LBA.
JAR-FCL requires everybody not having completed the theoretical ATP to do a so called High Perfornmance Airplane course/exam in order to fly something "high performance" listed in their regulations.
In Germany the only chance to do this exam is at the LBA in Braunschweig.
What I got from the net is that several flight schools in norway or switzerland offer HPA courses where you do the exam with them on behalf of the authorites.

The question that comes to my mind is, will the german LBA accept a HPA exam which was done in switzerland or norway, or must I do the exam with the german authorities.
I haven´t found the time to simply call them and ask!

Thanks in advance for your answers and suggestions.

Rgds
