"What is the best way of learning for these exams, any tips anyone?????"
Read the online study guides a few sections at a time
Take note of the yellow key fact boxes
Practice in the electronic Key Facts area
Then hit the specific Subject based questions
Make a note of those you get wrong
Most have handy explanations which you can print off
When you are getting high marks, do the Progress Tests online
and again re-study any weak areas
The second time you read the online study guides it becomes easier as you see where questions have been highlighted
They are updating questions and study guides daily
and lastly it big-time worked for us

I did the CATS PPL online and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Had access to ATPL online too and was very useful as a reference when studying the PPL. Just get on the demo for ATPL if that what you want.
I've just started the online ATPL now and all the subjects are laid out before me
But it's nicely staged into three groups
Reckon I'll have Stage one in the bag soon

The CATS online study guides are great value. No one else has them as far as i know. Found them to be very staright forward. Its like anything, if you have a genuine interest in a particular topic you find it alot easier to digest.
Out of all the subjects, AGK, MET were my Favourites. Different for everyone i suppose.
Waste no time, get online! (did that ryhme!!)

Hst145,
There are 3 different mediums. Online for £999, Online & traditional hard copy's for £1499 or In-house for £2499.
I did mine all online. Some preferred to pay the extra for the hard copy books but i didnt need them.
Go get em!!!

Thanks for that will give her a bell.
Noticed your first post, and your going to do the online course.
How long do you think it will take you to complete the course? and
will you be working as well?

Bristol QB V CATS Quick Q's (QB)
I've been told not to bother about using Bristols QB and to just concentrate on CATS QB. I've heard so much about them its hard not to have a peak.
Have any of you used Bristols whilst having access to CATS QB or did you just rely on CATS alone.
Many thanks.

BGS Qu bank vs CATS Qu bank
Rooster
See post no.73 on this link.
I still reckon that CATS qu. bank has always been & will remain the definitive qu. bank for JAA exams.
Good luck with your exams

The fact is the Q's in the CATS question banks are as solid and as reliable as anyones out there.
The real key though is that there is No rip off fee every few months, no book to buy, just good old fashioned FREE!!!!

Call maria at CATS tomorrow on 01234 757 969. She has a list of local accomodation. Best one is wood farm. No 5 star by any stretch of the imagination but you can't grumble about £12.00 a night (Believe its even cheaper if you stay long term) A few other full timers stay there so you wont be on your own. All the best with the course. Instruction is spot on. Esp the legend Stuart Smith
