Question Seasonal recruiting cycle - when to start/finish training???

Hi all,
Does anyone think there is a significant peak period of the year when airlines hire more 'fresh out of training' pilots, or is demand fairly constant throughout the year. I've heard that September is a good time for jobs, but wondered to what extent this was true. I planning on starting training in the next few months, which will mean I finish training (and apply for jobs and start type rating) in March/April/May 2008. Is this the start of a trough in terms of jobs?
Any info would be appreciated.
