Meteorology training advice needed

Hi mates!

I'm looking for some advice about this 2 Met. books. I'd like to get the most comprehensive one. Which one would you recommend me?

- Climatology for Airline Pilots - Roy Quantic
- Aviation Weather - Peter Lester (Jeppesen)

Also about this training CD. Any opinions?

- Aviation Meteorology (Oxford Aviation Training)

Thanks in advance!

Good flights!

Depends what level of knowledge youre at. The Oxford CD is pretty damn good, got me through my Atpl met exam. It brings you from the basics up to a pretty good level and I would really advise it.

I dont know the other books too well, would highly reccomend the CD though, the guy who made it, Steve Francis, is a met god!

Oxford CD

I'd agree with Gblen the Oxford CD is superb, Has great visuals and above all is explained to you rather than a book which you have to read and digest. If I were you I'd go for the CD you won't be dissapointed.

Get yourself the Oxford Met CD - it makes some fairly complex ideas far easier to understand. Once you have a good grasp of the subject I would suggest signing up for the Bristol Ground School online database.

First at all, thanks everybody for the comments!!!

Secondly, thanks also for the offers for Met CD's. My flight school may make me a discount in the CD buying more books I need. If they don't I'll contact all the people who has contacted me about the CD.

Nice flights!
