IFR Simulator Availability

Hi all,

Can anyone advise me where I might be able to find a Frasca/FNPT I sim for hire, to do some basic IFR revision/practice? Anywhere within a 40 mile radius of Manchester/Liverpool would be the best.

sorry I know it's considered bad form to reply to oneself, but any input here would be appreciated. Basically I guess I'm looking for a flight school that has a basic IFR trainer which I could hire out for an hour or so?

In the area you're talking about, the commercial schools I know of would be Ravenair at Liverpool, JD Aviation at Manchester, and both Multiflight and Leeds Flying School at Leeds. No idea what their simulator availability would be, but the list is small enough to contact each of them.

If you're prepared to travel a little further, The Flight Centre at Wolverhampton (01384 221477) have a Seneca based sim.
