Waxy, Max is a policeman, not an airline recruiting expert. While his advice was no doubt given in good faith, it is essentially incorrect. Please read the thread I linked to in an earlier post here for a full explanation of the procedure for the checking of criminal records by airlines and by the BAA, and information about what level of disclosure is required.
