Renewing a CAA/JAA MEIR in Florida - Is it Possible ?
Hi there,
My MEIR expires towards the end of April. I envisaged I would be renewing it at a UK FTO, but as chance would have it I will be away in Florida on holiday when it expires. So, the big question is ........... is it possible to renew it over there (I know the initial IRT has to be done in the UK) and if so, any recommendations ?? I'd possibly be considering renewing it in a twin so that I could get away with renewing it in a sim the following year !
Any advice welcome. Thanks.
CG.

Take a peek here:
http://www.caa.co.uk/application.asp...detail&id=1211
for a list of UK JAA approved schools. Those in Florida will be listed and one may be able to oblige.
Don't forget that you can renew in a suitably approved FNPT2 if your last one was done in the aeroplane.
