School Kid pilots

Any ideas appreciated.......

I've been asked to help out at a school careers fair to give basic advice to 14-15 yo's who might be interested in becoming a pilot. I work as a pilot in the corporate sector and got to fly bizjets thru self sponsorship, I then years later managed to get a job having busted my balls doing various jobs and getting to know people in high places. As a result my knowledge of how to get into commercial aviation conventionally is perhaps dated and ropy.

I've had a search to see what schemes are available at the moment but would really appreciate some advice from some guys that are perhaps not long out of school and well on the road to becoming a pilot.

Thanks in advance.
