Hi pilots!

I´m considering buying one of those electronic flight computers. I´m hesitating to buy the Jeppesen one or the CX-2 Pathfinder Flight Computer by ASA. Which one would you recomend me? And.. is it really usefull in comercial aviation (eg. 737) or just for a PPL?

What does it do that the aircraft FMC/FMGC doesn't?
