Classic Time on the FAA ticket

Can anyone help me with this one please? I have the usual FAA certificates + 737 CL type with the 600 hrs on type milestone coming up in early 2006.

Though I am aware of the requirements for converting this to the JAA system (which will no doubt change before I finish this post
)

I would like to find out about the possibility of using this to fly in South East Asia or Middle East. Though I understand all countries have their own conversion requirements for flying in their backyard are they at least more receptive to US training than say JAA states? I don't really want to go along the JAA route anyway so want to know if I can get anywhere in these other regions Asia & Middle East.

Many thanks for the help.
