Just wondering... how much does it help in terms of getting an interview with an airline if someone has participated and/or won awards in NIFA (National Intercollegiate Flying Association) SAFECON (Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference) Competitions, either at the regional level or the national level?

It is the most prestigious collegiate flying competition in the United States, but I wonder how many airlines (both the US and the rest of the word) actually know about it?

I've never heard of it, but that's because I'm UK-based, as is this board. You might do better to ask this question on the North America forum, or on any Wannabes-type boards that concentrate on the USA scene.
