Unhappy Air Canada ramp rat or pursue love of flying

Hi guys, I desperately need advice here on what to do next. I am a 38 year old commercial licenced pilot with 540 hours total time having to hold on to a dream of being a pilot for many, many, many years. I currently work for Air Canada for the past 15 years on the ramp with all the wonderful benefits but I want to fly. What would you guys do if you were in my position, instruct, keep the Air Canada job and try and get a charter job flying light twin which I will be very happy or try and accumulate as many twin hours which I have an opportunity to do and in ten years I am eligible for my travel card and hopefully between now and then I might be lucky to get a corporate job as for my age they might see me for my maturity.

I need help and advice and is it worth it still pursuing the love of flying.

thanks guys
