Flying in australia

Hi all,

I am heading to Australia in October and want to continue flying, I have 25 hours and have completed the JAA PPL exams.

Just looking for the following information
1. Can i use the hours i fly in Australia towards my PPL?
2. Is there any documenatation needed to fly in Australia?
3. Can anyone recommend some flight schools in the Sydney area?

thanks

1. Probably.

2. A student pilot licence, a medical (Class 2). Go see a flying school.

3. Crane Air (Note: I was the CFI there a number of years ago so I could be biased &/or out of date... ), otherwise do a search on the Oz forums.
