Rainbow Air / UKFT 1500h?

Hey People,
I'm new to the board, so it's my first post

I was planning on attending Embry Riddle in Florida to get my licences. Now I'm an international student from germany, and it just doesn't make sense to only get the FAA licences.
I've looked into some flight schools that alos offer the JAA program.

I came across Rainbow Air / UKFT.

For about $80000 I'll receive my FAA-ATPL and JAA-ATPL (unfrozen) with 1500 hours flight time including 500 hours turbo prop /turbo jet time. What do you think of this?
Here's the website :

http://www.rainbowair.com/academy_european_ptip.htm

Thanks for the feedback.

Incase this is a bad choice, could you let me know any other good flight schools in the US where I could get my JAA training?
Thanks alot,

Phil

Don't know anything about it personally. But the name "Rainbow Air" conjures up images of ficticous pots of gold just over the horizon.

First thing that jumped out at me there was that no accomodation is included. So for 2.5-3 years, you're effectively working for nothing.... and having to pay for your own accom/meals etc.

With regard to Rainbow Air, I've seen the name about PPRuNe before - they provide training aircraft for other schools at Long Beach I think.

This thread may also be of interest. I believe the providers of this course, Angel City Flyers, use Rainbow aircraft for some of their training.
