ATPL Ground Studies - 3 year expiry
I'm 1/3 through my ATPL ground studies and I renotice that my exams will only be valid for 3 yrs after I complete them. So say I get a job after 6 months (big assumption I know), I then have to get 1400+/- hours in 30 months to unfreeze my ATPL. Achievable I know with the right airline but also a bit tricky if with the wrong one.
So what happens if I have 1200hrs and my airline goes bust, and I have 4 months to my 3 yrs with no apparent means of achieving my 1500 hrs? Do I have to retake the entire study package?
Any advice?

After you pass your ATPL exams, you have 3 years in which to pass your initial instrument rating skill test.
Once you have passed your IR you have 7 years from the date of your last RENEWAL before you loose the theory credits. So as long as your IR is current you'll be ok!
