Flight training - Greater London

Hello One and All,

I'm looking to take on a few trial lessons (with a PPL in mind for the future). The schools/ clubs closest to me are Denham; Elstree and Wycombe Air Park (BA). Does anyone have a recommendation as to which school I should go for? I'm located in North West London...

Any help and/ or advice would be most appreciated.

I have done some training at the pilot center at denham and found them very friendly place to fly with excellent staff. I don't know about the cabair lot on the other side though...

Thanks GIMCP, do you know anything of the BA flying school in Wycombe?

Try Cabair Denham or Wycombe Air Centre (Wycombe). Definitely suggest that you visit your possible choices. Ask to speak to an instructor and look ask to look at the aircraft.

Try "Wycombe Air Centre" (01494 443737) at Booker. My daughter did her PPL there a few years ago (She is now a 737 co-pilot). All very professional. Well worth a drive up there for a look around. You will find them a very friendly outfit.

West London Aero Club - White Waltham, Berks (nr Maidenhead) is also a nice place to fly.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Wycombe Air Centre. I've just finished my CPL/multi/IR there and it's a great outfit.

PM me for the lowdown if you want.
