Is this true about NAC
Hi all just wondered if anyone had heard this. Been chatting to an old instuctor who worked for Naples Air Centre and he told me that the Caa had pulled there Jaa training. He does not work for them anymore only left a few months ago.( and before anyone says anything he left on good terms). He was talking to one of his mates (fellow instructor at NAC) and told him that the CAA made there second visit to check up on the school, and they were not happy with something. Dont know if its true just wanted to find out, i have nothing against the school found it ok when i was there.

Kestral1,
It's still listed in CAA Approved FTO Document No. 31 v.59 dated 31 May 2005, published on the CAA website.

I can confirm that NAC is currently and has been under continued JAA approval while the school has been in operation since JAA Inception.
The second visit from the CAA was merely a sampling of Instructors which the CAA completed with a number of schools whilst they were in Florida. Instructor sampling is a common practise completed by the CAA to all approved schools whether in the UK or not to maintain standards and teaching per the JAA syllabus. There was nothing untoward in this visit.
If you have any questions as to the approval of NAC, you may visit our web site ( www.naples-air-center.com ) or request to have a copy sent to you showing our current approval issued on June 1, 2005 after this sampling was completed. You may also visit the CAA web site:
www.caa.co.uk
Should you have any questions, I shall be happy to discuss this with you:

All those providing commerical training in the Sunshine state, so that'd be -
EFT - European Flight Training
OFT - Orlando Flight Training
NAC - Naples Air Centre
Not sure whether they visited Delta Flight Academy

Just left NAC
I just left NAC on Saturday. I made a big mistake.
Now I am back at work and its awful. I should have stayed there for another 5 weeks. The instruction was excellent, the staff were great, it was great value and the weather... man it was wonderful!
I will put up a full post in the next day or so but for a PPL Naples was perfect, I just wish I didnt have to come home!
