I'm sure a search on here would provide you with a lot of information.
Personally, I'd turn up and have a look around. Though this is not the only way to make conclusions about them, I think it would be a good idea.

Turn up and look.
Personally I thought they were good. The IR instructor really is first class. And you can use the sim when no one in it which is a plus. Also I felt I benefitted from the extra hours in the aircraft.
