Hello,

Need some further information for my project.

I know very little about the flying qualifications so please bare with me. I understand to be an airline pilot you have to have a ATPL, and to achieve this you have to have a certain amount of ground tution and air tution, but how much? and how many hours or solo/instrument/night flying etc do you need.

What areas of the training do you have to cover in both the air syllabus and ground syllabus.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

zabba, see the sticky at the top of the thread list, the one titled READ BEFORE YOU POST. Loads of good links in there.

Regards
Stoney

P.S. Scroggs, your link in the archive thread to "Flight Crew Licencing and LASORS" in no longer found.
