Snoop The poaching has started.....?

Can anyone tell me what has happened at Tayflite in Perth. Somebody has told me that the last 2 senior instructors have been poached by other operators. Can anyone advise me as I'm considering going there - as they had an excellent rep etc.

Everyone is looking at the shortage of experienced instructors with some worry. Quite a few have been picked up by airlines and I believe the better paying schools will start collecting others who want to stay instructing. I also hear quite a few PPL schools are looking to fill shortages.

chalkytop,

The rumours are true, I heard today that two of the most experienced Instructors at Tayflite have resigned. Who knows whats going to happen.

I have heard a lot of good reports about the course there, mainly as a direct result of the quality of the Instructors.

Guess it shows the state of the job market nowadays!!
