US jaa flite training...is it really JAA?

Hello,

Im planing to go to US in July and get my JAA PPL done!
I heard itīs cheaper so why spend so many euros and time here.

However I was told that although it is JAA training I would probably have to do something and spend more money when I get back to Portugal....I even heard it would end more expensive than doing it here!

Can anyone explain this situation?
I really need to know, dont want to go there and end spending a fortune!!

Thanks!!!

Yes as long as you go to a JAA approved school. You will always have to do a little conversion when going to a new school so you can experience local airspace and aircraft etc! I did my PPL in US two hours later in the UK I was flying!
