SEP vs MEP CPL

I have used the search function and found some interesting and useful information on this topic. However what I am really after is hearing from people who have combined the MEP rating within their CPL.

The school I am considering uses the Piper Seneca II. I believe they’re 220bhp turbo charged engines making the nav somewhat more challenging; one of my major concerns.

So if you have done a MEP within a CPL how did you find it? Did the extra multi time help? Did it cost you any more? Did it save you any time?

If I do a SEP CPL I intend to do my MEP rating straight after then my IR. I do not wish to combine the MEP rating within the IR.

Sorry if you feel this has been done to death on here but any fresh advice would be much appreciated.
