The order of things?

Hi,

I'm wondering if I can start the ME / IR at any time?

I have 90 hours TT and understand I need 70 PIC in order to start the ME, do I need a minimum before starting the I/R? Also do any of the ATPL's have to be passed before starting the I/R?

Any help appreciated.

P.S. The flying school is looking into this for me as well.

LASORS Section E says 50 hours x-country PIC of which 10hrs must be in aeroplanes + a night qualificaiton. Note that this to apply for an IR and is not needed to commence training.

Goto www.caa.co.uk and download the PDF.
