Got an airline job with 200hrs or 1500 hrs +?

How many of you have managed to get a job with an airline with the minimum number of hours (I believe it to be 200hrs, correct me if I'm wrong)?

I've been browsing a few airline websites and they've been requiring pilots to have 1500hrs + if applying for a job.

Other things like type ratings will result in training costs shooting through the roof especially with the hours one needs to build.

How many airlines take pilots on with 200hrs and no type ratings?

I'm beginning to wonder what would life be as an instructor, as I have the impression they get a very poor pay a year just for building up hours and being limited by weather etc..

Cheers
