fish OZ or Asian ATPL???

I have a US ATP with about 3000 hrs TT, over 2000 hrs in jets. I live and work for an airline in Hawaii but things aren't looking to pretty in paradise nowadays. I am starting to look for jobs in Asia and Australia. I am not sure if I can apply with my FAA ATP or do I need to get it converted to the new country?

Any help would be appreciated. I don't have my heart set on any particular country, as I am flexible, I am just looking for something new and different, AWAY from the USA for a while, maybe permanently if its a good job.

Forget about Oz!!! Go up to any tree and shake it. Those that fall out are pilots. Those that remain are engineers - they have a better grasp of physical things. That is unless of course you are a TRI/TRE with a useful jet type and several thousand jet command and instructional hours on said type.
