Road Runner Travel Resort at EFT, Florida..

Hi

Has anyone out there got any opinions on the Roadrunner Travel Resort?

Road Runner Travel Resort: 800-833-7108
5500 Saint Lucie Blvd Fort Pierce, FL 34946, US

It is situated literally walking distance from EFT at St Lucie Airport, Ft. Pierce (See link below).

Any feedback welcome.

SAMIR786,

I haven't actually stayed in them myself but know a lot of students who did before Christmas. From what I understand they are quite comfortable and didn't hear any major complaints from people who stayed there.

I think there maybe a bar of some sort on site, but there is definitely a swimming pool and a pitch and putt golf course. Not that you'd have time as you'll too busy flying. It is only about 15-20 minutes walk from EFT so I think is the closest you'll get.

Hope this helps.

Cheers for your reply.

So from what you've heard...how does it compare with EFTs own accom?

Also, what are their typical rates per night?

I am going out there in the first week of April for about 2 weeks.

The bar, pool and golf course sounds good to me!

Some quality Ft Pierce accomodation.

Make sure your mullet coincides with the local regulations before entering this classy trailer park.

Myself being a camaro owner and previous temporary resident of road runner trailer park i too choose to sport a mullet.

Although my haircut is not traditional in redneck culture, it is still being considered for official classification as an approved mullet design.

LOL

Is this a proper hotel with rooms etc?

What kind of facilities are there and what are the typical rates?

Is this a safe place to spend 2 weeks?

Seriously now guys!

Or should I chose Comfort Inn at Vero Beach.

Its just that Road Runner seems to be closely situated to EFT.

Cheers.

EFT generally place students at roadrunner. it is a safe place.

It is a trailer park, but the trailers are new and clean. The area is isolated but near to st lucie intl airport. Cost wish i think they ask about 450p/month though dont quote me on that.

comfort inn is alrightish, it is much further away. u will require a car to get to the airport. typical rates are btween 45-75 go look on hotels.com for confirmation.

but at both places expect to be severly ridiculed if u do not sport sufficient mullet.

If u dont want to grow one prior to arrival i do suggest purchasing a traditional mullet wig.

at a mere 25bucks from www.mulletjunky.com it could be well worth it.

Many happy memories of laying beside the pool at the trailer park...not the classiest of places but it was a good way to unwind after a hot sticky afternoon in the air!

The school had placed some students at the trailer park in Oct last year when I was there and most seemed happy. Some even chose to stay there over the Vero houses as they liked having the pool !

Nowt queerer than folk.......

Whats the best type of accom. they have for single occupancy?

Their cabins look pretty cool.

What about showers...restaurants..etc?
