Ground training and TAX

Hi All,

Having flown one way or another for nearly 20 years I reckon it's time to at least try for the CPL ground exams, leading to FIR.

I would only be able to take up a correspondance course as I'm a full time self employed farm manager. My question then is ... does CPL (ground) training qualify as tax deductable? Some years ago you could register for vocational training relief on all training for ATPL by doing a degree type course along side. This was soon stopped, but it leads me to wonder if at least the non flying side can be claimed against tax.

Any tax experts out there?

SS

PS ... I'd also appreciate advice on the best course providers.
