Epta Mcc

Hi folks,

Have not been on these pages for some time now as tied up in training and work.

However, having finished CPL/IR training I now need the MCC and have been looking at EPTA in Bournemouth.

Could anyone who has done this course please tell me if the course is over 8 consecutive days or is the weekend free? I know the course starts on a Wednesday. Need to know so can sort days off from work and am hoping to get it sorted in time for 1st December course.

Also, any pre-study required by EPTA?

Any help appreciated.

Hi, I did the ETPA MCC and went away impressed.

Regarding pre-study, you will receive a briefing pack, which includes things like a bit of tech background on L1011 and the SOPs. I would advise you to read and understand these two elements, particularly the SOPs.

The more effort you put into an MCC, the more you will get out of it. Remember, the key thing about flying 2-crew is to do your job properly, and monitor your mate, so you can spot any bollocks he drops and take corrective action.
