Job prospects on completion of training

How good are job prospects (excluding the airlines which I know about!) generally after one has the minimum hours (say 200-250) to gain other jobs such as air taxi, freight or instructing? What are the feasible (and most likely) options for a minimum hours fATPL holder?

For each job, what are their minimum requirements?

If one owns an Instructor's Rating, is he/she then able to get an instructing job relatively easily (compared to a RHS in a jet)?

To be honest, I would be a little disheartened if I put all that money and hard work in to get the bare minimum to find that I need a load more hours just to meet minimum requirements for ANY job.

At this point in time, I would love to be paid for any type of flying, but just out of interest (as I might have a small loan to pay back) what is basic pay for instructing?

I saw that some of the programmes in USA provide you with an internship as an instructor at the end of it - what's the pay like comparative to back here in the UK?

If anyone can give me some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

The airline industry is very fragile and it is likely to stay like this. Research on these forums will give you a mix reaction. Some people got jobs on 250 hrs and some did not get even after 1000 hrs.
