What you are asking about requires careful thinking and evaluation.
All schools have periods of uppers and downers, and recently Airmed has been experiencing perhaps most of the latter. The last but one international promotion didn't get as many students as hoped. Some did actually leave after arriving.. Last int' promotion isn't much better in volume.
Talking about downers, it is mainly directed to the practical part - flight training. The theoretical part is hardly anything to say about except good things. Planningwise some hickups, but in general excellent.
To be more specific about the flight training, it might seem like a mixture of the worldfamous Spanish attitude and ingrown habits are ruling to the last moment. Most instructors have a good potencial and do their utmost, but still there are few that seems to have forgotten what they are there for.
Too often they are just tipping their toes into the water, not daring to jump; in clearer words: requiring Royal Weather of Silk to even just go out to look at the weather.
Also worth to mention, the school is supposed to have very good conditions: great weather, NAVaids for night and day IFR, good books (Jeppesen), not too crowded aerodrome, reasonably good aircrafts; but what if you don't utilise all of this in a decent way? Then it won't help you at all..
Please notice Airmed's new course specifications: 14 months of theory and a minimum of flight hours, instead of previously 24 months and 180 hours.
Find alternatives and compare - do not haste!

It's better if you avoid Airmed and don't waste your money and your time. Airmed is knowing the worst period in its history. They have reduced the flight hours from 180 Hrs to 140 Hrs and the price of the course instead is rising promotion after promotion. And if you think on it , reducing flight hours but not the price it doesn't make any sense. If you like to spend 73000 Euro and not be sure to end the course go ahead but it's not a good idea
They have fired the most experienced flight instructors because they were asking an increase in the salary and as answer they got a nice letter which said to them go back at home and don't come back never again. Now the only instructors are recent ex student of Airmed witha good connection and less than 500 Hrs and not previous experience on teaching who are payed less....
