Going through a workbook i was sent out, yeah on a sat night and on the the questions asks: if you are travelling at 240kts, how far will you travel in 13 mins?

Now no where in the work book does it say 1kts = ??m/s or that! How you work this out?

240 Kts = 4 nm per minute.

13min @ 4 miles per minute = 52miles
