If you go on some well known ground school websites they have some feedback in the forums section.

Thanks YYZ,
Been surfing the sites as well as the prep from my d.l. course at Oxford-feedback in the books, course etc-just trying to get as many angles on these tricky subjects as I can before Septembers sitting. Thanks once again

Well

Itīs been a while but here goes:

What kind of oxygen supply is used in Cockpit? (Not exactly how it was phrased but something like it)

a) gasous
b) chemical
c) chemical or gasous
D)x

The advantages of Chemical oxygen system are
i
ii
iii
iv
V
iV

the magneto gets itīs power from?

In a bootstrap system the air is..?

A)First preheated in the primary hx and then cooled in second
B)Firstly precooled in the primary and then further cooled in the secondary hx.

All answers were very similiar so you have to know what happens to the air when it goes through primary and secondary and in what order.

Windshield is heated by?

The APU can be used when?

A thermal plug is fitted where?

A one way ...... is also known as?

There should be no....... on the.... (oxygen system I think it was)?
grease as this can self ignit
grease as this can ignit due to oxygen presence (or something like that)

for this exam I canīt remember much else but my advice is to have a solid knowledge of CAUīs as well as Constant speed Units and of course know what a Zener Diode is. Questions on electrics seemed to be largely on ppl level and roughly 4-5 questions involved magnetos.

sorry if I canīt remember much about this exam.

Good luck.
