Question Jetstream

Hi!

Could somebody explain me how the temperature changes when over or underflying a jetstream?

Thanks!

It's been a while, but basicall if you cross under or over a jetstream, you're crossing a front as jetsreams are formed along fronts due to corriolis. So basically it's the edge of two front's and as you cross fronts, temperature changes.

I'm not 100% certain but I believe that has something to do with it.

Any other ideas
