CAA PPL swap-over.

Story goes I always dreamt of flying commercially, however recently found out my eyesight don't quite meet the CAA Class 1 limits therefore unable to fly commercially.I do have my Class 2 and my CAA/JAA PPL licence however now I have found out my eye's are within FAA limits for commercial/ATPL.Therefore I'm looking for advice on what to do,swap over my PPL now,and study everything for the FAA CPL/ATPL ...OR... continue to learn under the CAA/JAA regime then convert it over and then do the CPL/ATPL exams for FAA??

Regards and Cheers
