help needed urgently

Hi Everyone

Need help urgently. Im living in South Africa and have just completed my JAA PPL and my SA PPL. Unfortunately school has gone bust so cannot do the JAA here anymore as they were the only school. I really dont know what to do. Should I go to the states to do the JAA or should I continue here and convert later to the JAA. How do the european airlines feel about pilots who have trained in SA and converted to JAA. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Birdlady

My experience is that almost everyone in this business prefer that you have taken the tests "locally". So, if cost is about the same I would have got a South African CPL with the ratings you're after and then convert to JAA back home.
