Question Aviation @ leeds...good idea?

Hi everyone.
I have a place on the Aviation Technology with Pilot Studies degree program at the University of Leeds and I was wondering what your views are on this course? The main reason I chose this course was to get a degree in something I am interested in, but also the student life and the growing up part of it etc.

At first I thought the Pilot Studies side would be good, but now I am thinking of changing to Aviation Technology with Management, as I can work towards my PPL privately and also surely the management side could be helpful if things don't go to plan in flying?
Do you think all this is a sensible idea?

Your views are appreciated

Education never hurts.

Leeds is a well regarded University.

If you enjoy the subject, and intend to make a career in the field, what else matters.

BTW, I am biased as I used to lecture on the course before the airlines came calling.

LOST.
