I am aiming to become a pilot and have 2 and a half hours flying in the Uk I have been told to get a ppl in America it will cost one third of the price I would like to know:
A] If this is true
B] Would it be worth traveling to america to get a licence
C] Are their licences the same or simular as ours
D] Roughly how much it would cost
If you could reply it would be greatly appreciated
Thank yon very much

I'm afraidthat you are asking questions that have been asked a million and one times. You are going to have to put in a bit of effort yourself.
If you make a search, the search is located at the top of the page, put in something like Florida or JAA licence etc you will get a wealth of information to trawl through. You can also look at theweb page of probably the best training establishment in Florida:
http://www.naples-air-center.com
Remember, the golden rules, don't pay for training up front at any USA training establishment and the cheapest is not the best!
Happy searching!
