Give Bonus Aviation at Cranfield a call - very competitive prices and pleasant setup. www.bonus.flyer.co.uk

Did mine with Leeds flying school at LBA.
Kevin Rowel was pretty good for a macum.
They have a FNPT I which does the job, and if you sign up for the course you get solo time free on the sim. (huge bonus BTW)
Wouldn't say cheap (although it is compared to some) more value for money, pay as you go, WX a bit ****ty at Leeds but it sets you up nicely for things to come in the future.

You'll not go wrong with Leeds Flying School.
Kev is a top instructor. They are very flexible and get you in more or less when you want to fly.
They are not expensive when you consider that you do 25 hours sim and 25 hours on the MEP. The nearest competition was about 500 quid more expensive for the package but was 35 hours sim and only 15 hours on the aircraft. The Cougar is a decent, simple and stable aircraft to train on. Loads of free sim time as mentioned which is a HUGE bonus.
All the best
