Just checked the ad running on top of this board from Global Aviation Solutions.

it says:

Most airlines now expect a pilot to be rated on type, before they will consider offering employment.

If this is the case, maybe the business has deteriorated so much a commercial drivers license and a taxicab would be the preferred choice instead of selling out to a company like this!
