Flying a turboprop

I will be hour building in the USA next year with a friend, after getting my Multi-engine rating. After 50 hours in command each on the Seneca, we are considering buying a ten hour block on the Beechcraft King Air, in order to log five hours in command on a turbine and 5 hours as P2.
However, does anyone out there know if we would have to get any additional ratings on our licenses before we could fly a turboprop?
Replies much appreciated,
Steve

If you have a JAR licence, you won't be able to BOTH log P1 on a Seneca, King Air or any single-pilot aircraft. It is only under the FAA that allows this, don't get fooled by some of these cheap hour building programs in the USA.
I believe this has been discussed before.

Sounds like you will need a high altitude endorsement also.
