nz ppl to uk ppl

hi everbody,

i am currently in new zealand doing my ppl and really enjoying it , i would to hear other peoples experiances of converting a non jaa ppl to a uk. some thing else i have been wondering about is,if i go on to hour build here lets say i do 100 hours in a non jaa country ,will these hours be counted as a 100 hours back in the uk if i decide to do the cpl course.
after getting the uk or nz ppl license which is the better option
(1) start hour building to reach the 150 hour mark then start the atpl ground school or
(2) start the atpl ground school, get the exams and then concentrate on the hour building and then moving on to the cpl course.
any comments would be appreciated,
cheers macflea
