Cessna Bird Dog

I am thinking seriously about a Bird Dog.

Does anyone have any first hand experience or comments? I have about 450 hours, mainly on a 150HP Super Cub, off tarmac.

Was flying a Bird Dog from the back seat on a glider tow with the regular tow pilot in front.

Flew back for the landing and did just fine until the stick came out in my hand turning final:uhoh:

So either have the rear stick out or give it a tug to ensure it's secured.
