Hope you've got better weather than we have on the west coast of Scotland. Went flying this morning and it was rough, especially downwind of the Cullins on Skye. Not a first solo day up here.

How do you expect to become a pilot of you cant even learn something as simple as a TAF/METAR decode.

Gibbberish? Looks simple enough to most people.

Your met exam has more than one question on it.

Give the guy a chance, if he is just getting to solo he probably has not even opened the met book yet:p

Met I havent touched yet!

As for the solo, waited 4 hours and then I did my 1st solo with a small x-wind to! I am now in the "family" of pilots:) I feel so wonderful!

Good luck with the rest of the course and especially the met. By the way, I had very little idea what TAFs and METARs meant when I did my first solo and it never stopped me.
