You would still have had to have had your 3 take offs and landings within the last 90 days before carrying passengers, of course.
Yes indeed. My club's currency rules are designed such that if you are current by club rules then it's pretty well impossible to be in breach of the 90 day rule.

100 Hours

My club trains most students on C150/2, and you have to wait until 100 hours before you can fly the clubs 4 seat C172 (an overgrown C150).
At around 65/70 hours I was asked to join a group for another C172, I had been told this 100 hours was due to insurance limitations, so when the group asked I agreed to join (so many positives for joinging a group and flying 4 seats over two (in my opinion) which im sure is more appropriate in another thread).
They contacted the insurance company to ask about hours who responded that it didnt make any difference and that they would lower the hours limit on the documents but would not cost anymore. So always worth checking.

On another note - whilst im not disagreeing with the book referenced above, im curious (but not enough to buy it) to know what arguments it presents for 100-300 being the most dangerous?
Iv just hit 125 hours and I KNOW that I still have so much to learn. Im currently in the process of balancing confidence with sense. I think you need the confidence to try new airfields etc, but still need to ensureyou apply some sense, even as far as always thinking "that field would be good if my engine failed now!"

As one of the 'rules' of flying states - "You start with with a bag full of luck, and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience, before you empty the bag of luck"
