New 2-seat Trainers

Just been reading about the Whitney Boomerang...does anybody else see this as the future in two seat trainers to replace the tired 152s and PA-38s?

It's more than apparent what the design is based upon! 'Car door' entry sounds interesting, as does 'business class' seats. If they've gone for a sensible trimming system along with the 'conventional' tail setup, they might just hit a spot with the Tommy bashers!

Is there anything else sensible out and about at the moment? Not looking to buy, just a general interest question.

Aero AT-3

Sky Arrow

Slingsby T67

Liberty XL2

And that's a tiny sample of huge numbers of aeroplanes on the market that are newer and nicer than a 35 year old C152! Which is not, of-course, to criticise the Boomerang, which is almost certainly a great aircraft, and best of luck to it.
