Anyway the thing I really wanted to know is how does an F16 which must be doing 200kt intercept a cessna at 100kts. Do they just fly round in circles waggling their wings while mate 2 lines up 5 miles behind for the missile shot?

This was a UK Department for Transport (DfT) ramp check on a UK pilot who just happened to be flying an American registered aircraft in the UK........:}

No but the restricted airspace went from 5nm to 15nm around certain areas.
